Maybe Buttler at 3? Him or Bairstow. Whichever doesnt do it gets the gloves. Denley needs to be below Stokes.
I don’t think you’re far off the best XI, for me it’s Roy out for a solid opener. Please don’t though lol.

Can’t see a result unless you have a red hot go for 10 overs then get us in. That would leave 45 overs chasing maybe 180?
Be a heck of a couple of sessions to watch.

Good session for England, with 3 matches to go they are absolutely right to try and take an Aussie win out of the equation first. I suspect they will have a little dart not long after lunch and put the Aussies in with about 10/15 to go until tea. A draw now by far the most likely outcome but you never know....

On reflection, think Jamie got it right - first priority was to secure the draw. We have a shy at it - and no Smith improves those odds. Stokie will have the win percentage I'm sure - but I'd guess 1 in 4 chance?

Yh just seeing time out now.... decent game overall tho. As always, shame about the rain. Oh and Smith ofc.
The big plus for us obvs was Archer's debut. Gonna be so good watching him develop, he's got proper fire.
