I saw he’d been ‘rested’. Surely they’ve got to use this time to talk him into taking off the gloves and batting higher. The most value for the team should be what matters most, not his personal preference.

Got an appointment today with the state umpires boss at the WACA. Never been there before so quite looking forward to seeing it. I love the new Perth Stadium, but I’m glad I’ll get to see where Curtly tore us a new one. Might even get to umpire there yet - who knows...
