The guy I work with that watches cricket has recently been telling me about the T10 cricket league that has popped up fairly recently. As a hardcore cricket fan he finds the concept to be laughable. As someone who first saw the sport a few months ago and has never seen T10 cricket I find the concept laughable. Has anybody here actually watched any T10 or not find the concept laughable?

We have saying over here “it’s just not cricket”.... T10 is the embodiment of that phrase, both figuratively and literally. It removes any subtlety from the game and essentially reduces the bowler to the point that you may as well just have a machine pelting balls at the batsmen who just heave 4s and 6s. Totally boring. I even struggle to enjoy T20 and was luke warm about the 1 day game when it first started gaining popularity - getting warmer these days  That engagement between bowler and batsman... the core battle... requires time if it’s to be fair and balanced. |

Australia now 8-1 to win this test IF we can get near on two full days in with our fragile batting they could pull this off especially with a 100+ lead just looked at the weather forecast not good at all

BBC forecast is pretty good for the next two days? Bit of early morning rain tomorrow but dry for the time play starts.
First session today is crucial. If we can get in to them this game is still on. Can't see the Aussies winning, they would have to bat all day today and probably in to tomorrow to get a big enough lead. Surely even England can bat for 2 sessions? Can't they??...

I’ll be a late starter tonight, the minister for finance and recreation tells me we have plans - and I’m very much looking forward to it because her friends fella apparently is NOT a dumbass who can’t string a sentence together about anything except his ‘gains’ lol. He’s almost a character in a bad movie.
Wish me luck, he a big bastard who could belt me if he picks up on the sarcasm and/or mocking 😂

4. Anyone on the opposition of any sport I’ve ever played - any place, any time. I sledge my mum when we play golf. Bitch beats me now though, she’s off 11 or something and I haven’t played more than 9 in 2 years - so it just evens it up. She does it right back, but is an amatuer lol.

Archer just pinged him in the arm. He’s ok but it must have been close to breaking it.
Just can’t see how to get him out. He does seem to tire a bit after 150 lol. Making him do what he least wants to do seems to be the best option, which is to drive thru mid off. We did that with Lara a few times. Slow him down and have all XI of you in the field work on a run out.
If we can get 100 in front, it’s going to be an interesting day 5.
