EDIT- sorry I screwed up the Twitter links! First try at it, didn’t really know what I was doing. Some of the videos posted twice it looks like
Hello all, this is probably going to be a long post. I lurk sometimes in the Covid thread (biting my tongue usually) and saw cliffs asking for reasons why anyone would vote Trump...so here I am. Contrary to what my username here may imply, I promise I am not a troll lol. I just didn’t want to use my same username here, because of the way supporters of Donald Trump usually get labeled as racist, which is absolutely absurd. It is the world we live in though, as it’s the Democrat narrative that’s been pushed as they want to shame people who want to vote for him. It would be no different than me saying anyone who votes for Biden supports pedophilia, given some of his actions and strange words around children. It’s just stupid. Ok, with that out of the way lets continue! I definitely would not say I am that big into politics, really only the past year or so have I become a lot more interested. What I really started noticing was just how BS the mainstream media is. They are all propaganda arms of the Democratic Party, I really don’t see how this can be argued as it’s SO obvious.Everything from CNN, NBC, CBS, MSNBC, Washington Post, NYTimes, etc....the bias is laughable. They are used by Democrats to push whatever their agenda/narrative is, and that #1 agenda is of course, anti-Trump. It does not matter what this guy does, it will be spun negatively. Unfortunately for them, what they fail to realize is that with every lie they tell, Trumps base actually grows stronger I believe. This is why so many Trump supporters are very passionate.
Allow me to now address a couple specific issues:
The response to COVID. This is the big one as everyone says he was too slow to act. I do not believe anyone else would’ve acted any sooner than he did, probably would’ve been later. Biden called Trump racist for the China ban, now we are supposed to believe he would’ve done better and acted sooner? Nah. These “experts” have also been flip-flopping around, even Fauci initially said he didn’t think it would be a big deal, from what I recall. I think the Trump administration has done as well as you can expect. He was leading a great economy and then this shit happened (I won’t get into my conspiracy theories on why and how lol), and I think it will come right back with another term. The topic of masks is a big one, with people flipping out whenever Trump doesn’t have one on or does and takes it off. They say Joe Biden would set the example for the American people. Ok, why don’t we take a look at Mr. national mask mandate, leading by example.....shall we?
So here is Biden repeatedly not wearing a mask when he thinks he’s off camera. He could’ve infected himself or others. Notice how none of this gets talked about by the media?🤔 Oh, speaking of media who love to get on Trump about masks,...why don’t we check in with Kaitlin Collins and see what she thinks about masks when the cameras stop rolling
Of course there’s also the one with Pelosi at the hair salon, which I’m sure you’ve all seen so I won’t bother with that. Even then though, the media didn’t care and from what I saw just supported Pelosi’s claim that she was setup. What point am I making with all this? It’s that both sides are absolutely full of shit about masks. Dems use it against Trump because they know hes really not a fan of them, yet they are all hypocrites who do the same damn thing. Quite frankly, because of this I do not give two shits whether Trump has a mask on or not.
Another big topic I’d like to say a few words about are social justice “protests”. The peaceful protest narrative is so damn comical. I would bet a lot you guys have no idea what’s actually going on every night. You have cops being assaulted (recently one got hit with a bat) and have Molotov cocktails thrown at them, amongst other things. According to Biden, this is just an idea lol. It is complete anarchy, yet channels like CNN will keep on ignoring the fires and calling them “mostly peaceful” 😂 I 1000000% believe Antifa/BLM is funded by Democrats, many people do. Recently there was a video of a Uhaul pulling up in Louisville after the Breonna Taylor announcement. Inside was shields and all sorts of riot crap. This uhaul was traced back to someone involved in an organization that bails people out of jail, it is something similar to what Kamala Harris wanted people to donate to to bail out protesters in Minneapolis. They’re funding it like I said! These rioters get arrested, bailed out, and then just return to riot. They want this chaos because they believed it would make Trump look bad....when it’s actually the opposite. I think they realized this which is why only recently has there been a Biden commercial condemning riots. Ummm...where were you the months prior, Joe? Look at the complete joke that is Portland, run by probably the worst mayor in the country Ted Wheeler. Seattle is awful too with Durkan, as is what de Blasio is doing to destroy NYC. These are of course, Democrats. On a side note, if anyone is interested in actually seeing live coverage of what’s going on every night in this country....I like the Youtube channel ptnews.
I think I’ll stop there, and add more later probably. Cliffs, when you said something along the line of you can’t imagine how anyone could vote Trump....for me it’s how in the world can anyone vote Democrat. When I see Trump, I see a Patriot who loves he USA. He stands for law and order. When I look at Biden, I see all the shady dealings of his party, the far left socialists who are going to control him, and all the fake news that gets pushed which just pisses me off. Biden would be a puppet. I seriously doubt he would even hold the office for more than a year. That is all...thanks to anyone who read this, even if you completely disagree lol

President Trump on Twitter said let’s cut to the chase on the stimulus negotiations and right now, give the people another $1200. Brilliant. Not sure if nevadaballin posts here, wonder what he thinks. Nancy Pelosi is the one stalling negotiations because she wants trillions of bailout money for Dem cities, most likely ones getting destroyed by “protesters”, or went with extreme lockdowns to spite him. I don’t blame Trump one bit for not giving on that. He’s making it simple now for what people really want, let’s see what Nancy does. This proposal by Trump will likely not be covered by the media, and if it does it will somehow be spun against him. CNN potential headline - “Trump attempts to buy votes with stimulus checks”

Thanks for responding but can you point out where you posted your <<<< as in your own, reasons for voting for Donald I will be very honest with you...I am voting Biden because I abhor Donald. Have for many more years than he thought about becoming a politician. Your comments are very much like the comments my son in laws make when discussing this subject. BTW, they are both very racist and wear that label proudly. They also both work in law enforcement and try to convince others that that is the reason they are racists. You don't just become racist over night, they were raised that way. A bit of info, the town we all live in has had "maybe" 5 families of color in the past 30 years. It is not due to any white privilege as we are a town of just 12,000 and most are paycheck to paycheck workers (if they have a job at all recently). I also love how you all (yes I bunched you up) call out the media for lying...ARE YOU FREAKING SERIOUS? Can you tell me how many times ANY world news anchors have flat out lied to the cameras? I know you can't but I can tell you how many times Donald has. I respect your choice and have no intention of trying to change your mind but open your eyes and smell the roses.

This proposal by Trump will likely not be covered by the media, and if it does it will somehow be spun against him. CNN potential headline - “Trump attempts to buy votes with stimulus checks” Did you read his earlier Twit? "I have instructed my representatives to stop negotiating until after the election when, immediately after I win, we will pass a major Stimulus Bill that focuses on hardworking Americans and Small Business. I have asked...... @senatemajldr Mitch McConnell not to delay, but to instead focus full time on approving my outstanding nominee to the United States Supreme Court, Amy Coney Barrett. Our Economy is doing very well. The Stock Market is at record levels, JOBS and unemployment.....also coming back in record numbers. We are leading the World in Economic Recovery, and THE BEST IS YET TO COME!" he said. Then this:In a pair of late-night tweets, President Donald Trump, changed course on negotiating coronavirus relief that he had earlier announced he was calling off until after the election. "The House & Senate should IMMEDIATELY Approve 25 Billion Dollars for Airline Payroll Support, & 135 Billion Dollars for Paycheck Protection Program for Small Business. Both of these will be fully paid for with unused funds from the Cares Act. Have this money. I will sign now!" he posted shortly before 10 p.m. "If I am sent a Stand Alone Bill for Stimulus Checks ($1,200), they will go out to our great people IMMEDIATELY. I am ready to sign right now. Are you listening Nancy?" he posted about 20 minutes later. You do realize that he was probably sat down and told that if he doesn't try to buy the election with a yuge stimulus check and he really stops the discussions, he would lose bigly. You get that don't you?Or maybe somebody read him this: In a statement, Pelosi blasted the White House as being in "complete disarray."
"Today, once again, President Trump showed his true colors: putting himself first at the expense of the country, with the full complicity of the GOP Members of Congress. Walking away from coronavirus talks demonstrates that President Trump is unwilling to crush the virus, as is required by the Heroes Act. He shows his contempt for science, his disdain for our heroes – in health care, first responders, sanitation, transportation, food workers, teachers, teachers, teachers and others – and he refuses to put money in workers' pockets, unless his name is printed on the check," Pelosi said.
"Clearly, the White House is in complete disarray. Sadly, they are rejecting the urgent warnings of Fed Chairman Powell today, that 'Too little support would lead to a weak recovery, creating unnecessary hardship for households and businesses. Over time, household insolvencies and business bankruptcies would rise, harming the productive capacity of the economy and holding back wage growth. By contrast, the risks of overdoing it seem, for now, to be smaller. Even if policy actions ultimately prove to be greater than needed, they will not go to waste," she said.

I gave my reasons why, not sure what else you want. In a nutshell, although I really do like Trump, I think my reasons are more my dislike for the Democratic party currently. Trump is far from perfect, but it’s nothing like what the Dems are doing. That’s my opinion. My eyes are already opened, like I said I didn’t really used to care about politics at all. I started researching things on my own, and seeing how fake the news is that so easily influences people. My parents are lifelong Democrat voters, their eyes have been opened as well.
Do you have any comment regarding Biden (and lesser extent Kaitlin) not wearing masks? This is supposed to be the mask hero, the one who would deal with COVID the right way. These videos are telling. Where’s the outrage? Does he just get a free pass?
News anchors lie every damn day, man. Speaking of which, I came across something funny today. Fake news at its finest. How can this possibly be explained? FAKE

Also, if fake news is a myth, how has it come to be that Nick Sandmann is raking in hundreds of millions in ongoing defamation cases against mainstream media outlets? 🤔

Im sure Trump has told some lies. Guess what? So has Joe Biden. So has Kamala Harris. So has Nancy Pelosi. So has [insert ANY politician] lol.
Does this however, excuse media outlets from reporting fake news to deceive the American public? Absolutely fucking not. News is supposed to be trusted. It seems you don’t want to address anything I’ve brought up, good talk.

trump2020There are so many points in your post that it's hard to address all of them in a single response, but, here goes: On COVID-19: Credit where it's due: Trump did, in fact, enact a travel ban from China. At the time, it was panned as a racist reaction which turned out not to be the case. However, the American public was primed to come to the conclusion by Trump's own anti-China rhetoric. When we criticize the President for his careless words, this is exactly why we think it's dangerous. When we criticize him for lying about things we can obviously see are lies, we are primed to conclude that we're being gaslighted. This is the President's own fault. Beginning in March, FOX News began to refer to the disease as the China Virus and the Wuhan Flu. The President repeated these terms often seeking to abdicate responsibility. The Administration feared a panic, and lied to the American public about the effectiveness of masks. Instead of being honest with us, the President and the disease experts muddied the waters by claiming that masks were not effective in preventing the spread of COVID-19. We know, now, that was an intentional lie put forth because the Administration was afraid that individuals would hoard N95 masks that were needed by medical professionals. We also know, now, that, as early as February 7, 2020, the President knew and understood the potential dangers of COVID-19 and how contagious the virus is. He knew it was worse than the typical flu. He knew it was transmitted through the air. He knew masks were effective. He lied to us and failed to take action. He did not enact the Defense Production Act to force the creation of ventilators. Economically, the President allowed establishment Republicans to dictate public policy. Instead of pushing for a universal benefit that would hit all Americans, the Administration opted for augmenting the states' unemployment insurance payments. This leaves a gaping hole among people who want to work but aren't able to do so because they require childcare. Furthermore, the Federal Government took care of large corporations, but failed to adequately take care of small businesses. The President and the Republican Senate have resisted any additional help. It's been two months since the CARES Act has expired. An estimated 40% of businesses that closed during the pandemic are expected to remain closed. That number will only grow the longer this drags on, as people are still not confident in public safety. With respect to shutdowns, the President has been pushing for a complete reopening. However, even in places where restrictions have been removed completely, businesses are struggling, as citizens keep themselves hidden away in their homes. Many people are out of work and have tightened their budgets. The CARES Act was allowed to expire under the premise that people were sitting out of work - and thus, out of the economy altogether - because they were being paid more to not work. That has turned out to be false. Overall, the President and his Administration have completely bungled the response to COVID-19. Our infection rate, per capita, is among the worst in the developed world, in spite of having the richest economy on all of Earth. Our economy has sunken into depression. On the economy: In 2016, the President ran a campaign on being anti-establishment, hitting Hillary Clinton on her ties to Wall St., on trade, and on corruption. Trump promised better healthcare and more support for the working class without providing any details on how he would accomplish any of that. Secretary of Treasury: Mnuchin - guy from Goldman Sachs. Secretary of State: Rex Tillerson - guy from Exxon. In 2017, with a Republican Congress, Trump's signature legislation was the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act. This bill is a major giveaway to wealthy citizens and to large corporations, with peanuts for middle-class working families. It is an austerity bill that gutted the Treasury and further withered away the public safety net. Tax cuts for the wealthiest Americans and for large corporations are permanent; the cuts for middle-class Americans expire in 2022. In 2017, President Trump inherited an expanding economy, but the expansion was felt mostly by the upper class. Income inequality had been rising for nearly a decade. Unemployment continued to shrink, but wages remained stagnant. For the first three years of his presidency, Trump's economy continued along the path set during the Obama Administration. Unemployment was at all-time low rates, but the number of Americans living near the poverty line had increased to almost half. Now, with COVID-19, unemployment sits at about 9%, with almost the entire impact being felt by already low-income workers. On healthcare: President Trump has repeatedly indicated that he intends to replace the Affordable Care Act with some other, undefined, healthcare plan, but we have yet to see one. He claims to want to protect patients with pre-existing conditions, but his Administration is suing in court trying to strike the entire law down as unconstitutional. If the suit succeeds, an estimated 30 million Americans will lose their health insurance plans, and there is no plan in sight to replace it with anything. On social issues: President Trump is leaning into conservative social issues in order to whip up their votes to support austerity measures that will help him, personally, and other wealthy Americans. As a result, American courts have been packed with conservative judges who tend to view things through a religious lens. This is a major problem with respect to women's rights and LGBTQ+ rights. In fact, this week, two SCOTUS judges - Thomas and Alito - have signaled support for striking down laws that enforce states' acceptance of same-sex marriage. This is an overreach of religion into government. Regarding Joe Biden: I am very far from a Joe Biden supporter. I am still considering whether I will cast a vote for him in November, although it is likely that I will. I live in New York which is a reliable Democratic state, so it will not matter much what I do. My criticisms of Biden are very close to the criticisms that many Trump supporters have of him: he wrote the '94 crime bill, he supported NAFTA, he supported the Iraq War. I also disagree with him on climate policy and healthcare policy. One thing Joe Biden is not is a socialist. He isn't controlled by "socialist, far-leftists." In fact, if you listen to actual socialist leftists, or even social democrats, Joe Biden is basically an economic-conservative, social-liberal candidate. Joe Biden is pro-police and anti-nationalized healthcare. He is against the Green New Deal and Universal Basic Income. Regarding Nancy Pelosi: Nancy Pelosi is terrible. An abhorrent waste of space. She's good for a speech rip-up and a sarcastic clap, but she goes right along with the overblown military spending and austerity budget. I am rooting for her challenger, Shahid Buttar, although I think it's a longshot. Regarding the Democratic Party: I think we see some of the same things in the Democratic Party. I actually dislike the Party and its current leadership - Biden, Kamala Harris, Schumer, Pelosi - a great deal. Thankfully, there is a new wave of Democratic politicians that are slowly sweeping their way across the party. These are names like Katie Porter, Ro Khanna, Mondaire Jones, Jamaal Bowman, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Ilhan Omar, Pramila Jayapal, Rashid Tlaib, Ayanna Pressley who are realigning the party back towards working-class Americans. These folks - and they are just few now, but they are growing - are actively working to pry the party away from the corrupt corporate elites who live off the donor class and do the donor class's bidding. Recently, one former establishment hack, Senator Ed Markey from Massachusetts, saw the writing on the wall and now supports a much more populist agenda.

Thank you ErixonStone for the in depth reply. I admit I don’t know nearly as much about the economy as you, so it’s definitely possible you are correct. It’s not something that would change my mind at all on voting for Trump, but still good info to know. I agree that Biden himself, is not a social far leftist. However, and this is where I’m going to veer off into conspiracy territory, it is my belief that he really is just a Trojan horse. He is going to be controlled and eventually pushed out with the 25th amendment. I strongly believe this is why Nancy Pelosi is starting this up now. It’s not about Trump, because we know Pence would not go along with that, probably ever. You need the VP to be on board. Kamala however, would absolutely move on Biden. I think the plan is for her to be President, Biden is just being used because he has the best chance of winning. The thought of Kamala Harris being President makes want to puke honestly, she is extremely unlikable. I know many feel this way about Trump, but it’s impossible for me to imagine people actually being fans of her. I also do not like a few of the names you mentioned like AOC. It was my belief that when people say “far left” or radical left, they are referring to people like AOC, Tlaib, Omar, etc?

I ask again, give us one news story that was fake and I ask again...why are you voting for Donald and don't say because he is not Biden. That is NOT an excuse it's a cop out. I already gave you 2 examples. Nick Sandmann, who along with other students received death threats due to their bs, and the town hall video. They used 2 people who had previously said they were voting for Biden, and tried to pass them off as undecided voters. There is absolutely no defense for that. You can not claim NBC wasn’t aware, they blatantly lied to viewers. It just shows that these people are bought and paid for to just toss softball questions at Biden, who I’m certain knows the questions in advance. We also have seen fake news countless times over the past few months with regards to “peaceful protests”. I’ll just leave this here, showing the absurdity that is CNN...
