Yeah, even though it was terribly moderated, Sanders and Warren didn't give in to what CNN wanted. They stuck to their beliefs, and they stuck together.
Also, John Delaney is a Republican and has no reason to be in the Democratic Debate.

Did any of our American friends watch the debate last night? How did my man Yang do with the Universal Basic Income stuff?

I was able to watch most of it last night. Yang was effective and stayed on point. He doesn't have a prayer, but he did really well. Last night was a bit of a snoozer compared to Tuesday. Warren was really impressive on Tuesday.
It was also interesting watching Harris get beat up a little bit last night on policy issues. It was not a good night for her.

It was also interesting watching Harris get beat up a little bit last night on policy issues. It was not a good night for her. Tulsi Gabbard ripped Harris up over Harris' record as Attorney General in California. Gabbard made several crushing points, and Harris had no response. Four major points made by Tulsi Gabbard: - Harris laughed off the idea of decriminalizing marijuana and then admitted that she smoked weed as a teen/young adult - Harris blocked evidence that would have exonerated a death row inmate. She purposely, knowingly kept an innocent person on death row because overturning a conviction would be a black stain on her resume - Harris extended sentences for inmates for the purpose of exploiting them for cheap labor - Harris instituted a policy that arrested parents of truants - teens that did not attend school. Because putting that kid's mom in jail was going to make that kid's life better.

Trump seemingly disappearing for an entire day after these shootings shows how great of a leader he is. Truly inspirational. My community is so lucky to have such a supportive president.

In his first formal comments on two mass shootings over the weekend that left over 30 people dead, President Trump mistakenly identified Sunday’s killings in Ohio as having occurred in Toledo rather than Dayton. The mistake was not lost on the mayors of both cities.
“May God bless the memory of those who perished in Toledo,” the president said in an address on Monday from the White House. “May God protect them. May God protect all of those from Texas to Ohio.”
In a statement posted to Twitter, Toledo Mayor Wade Kapszukiewicz said that while it was “pretty obvious” Trump misspoke, the city was “happy to accept his prayers, even if they were meant for #Dayton.”

America was built by racists with racist intentions. That sort of conditioning takes centuries to wear off, still a long way to go.

Saw that yesterday Joe - not a great look for sure. I think most evidence points to only a small minority of Americans being racist. Unfortunately after some decades of great progress... their current President is walking back some of those gains.... racists are currently feeling legitimised. And as I mentioned in the old place - not limited to America - we've seen the same legitimisation of racist behaviour over here in the last few years - I've been on the end of it

Fox News host Tucker Carlson on Tuesday claimed there is no white supremacy problem in the United States and that the very notion of one is a hoax created by the media and the left.
“The whole thing is a lie,” said Carlson, who has routinely given airtime to white nationalist conspiracy theories and talking points. “It’s actually not a real problem in America.”
He added:
“This is a hoax, just like the Russia hoax. It’s a conspiracy theory used to divide the country and keep a hold on power. That’s exactly what’s going on.”

So, when a white man travels 10 hours to a city inhabited primarily by Hispanics, shoots up a Walmart, killing 20 people, and leaves a manifesto declaring that he is, in fact, a white supremacist, we are to believe that white supremacy is not a real thing. That it isn't a problem.
When a white man uses the same words to describe brown people - an invasion, an infestation - as the racist President, that isn't a problem.
Ok.
But when an American citizen who believes in a different way to praise the same Abrahamic god (Allah) that an overwhelming majority of Americans pray to (Yahweh), says something in an awkward way, she is automatically a Terrorist.
Got it.
No double-standard at all.
It's not a problem.

Yep, definitely not a problem. Just a 50% increase in white nationalist groups in 2018. Came across a very interesting site a few days ago, dedicated to shining a light on this "hoax"... www.splcenter.org/hate-map
