Washington (AFP) - President Donald Trump said Monday that the US would have to be careful about allowing Bahamian survivors of Hurricane Dorian into the country, warning there could be "very bad people" among them.
The previous day, several hundred storm survivors were prevented from boarding a ferry from the Bahamas to Florida because they lacked US visas -- an incident that a top American immigration official said was a mistake.
Speaking to reporters outside the White House, the president -- who has made strict immigration regulations a pillar of his presidency -- said that "everyone needs totally proper documentation."
"The Bahamas has some tremendous problems with people going to the Bahamas that weren't supposed to be there," Trump said.
"I don't want to allow people that weren't supposed to be in the Bahamas to come into the United States, including some very bad people and some very bad gang members and some very, very bad drug dealers."

Donald Trump on Monday once again joked about staying in office for “an extra term” so he would still be president when the U.S. hosts the 2026 FIFA soccer World Cup, adding “no, no, I’m only kidding.”

I see his latest theory is that the polls are fake.
Funny by itself, until you realise it's probably laying the groundwork to try and claim the 2020 election result is fake if it goes the wrong way

When, in reality, the only side that benefits from "fake" election stuff is the republicans. Dodgy counting and mostly not letting black people vote...

WASHINGTON-- As President Donald Trump departed for a campaign rally in Fayetteville, North Carolina, Monday he said that people were standing in line “trying to get into the arena” and are “soaking wet.” “So we have now people standing in line trying to get into the arena and I will tell you that they are soaking wet," Trump said, according to a media pool report, during a briefing he received while aboard Air Force One headed to North Carolina. However, the weather in Fayetteville wasn’t stormy leading up to the rally, according to reporters who were in attendance at the rally.

Like this: NC GOP Stops Black People From VotingThey know their Neanderthalish ideology is liked by only a minority of Americans, so the only way they can win is by rigging elections, voter suppression, gerrymandering, etc.

“He is disrupting the global alliance and bringing down the international trading system. And he is hurting our hard and soft power and our standing,” Scaramucci said. “Literally, the way he acts is a full-blown embarrassment on the global stage. He’s stumbling and bumbling along. The Chinese is laughing. This guy's burying the U.S.”
If the dems want to stay clean and not sling mud...use Scaromooch's comment.

Talk about short-term memory loss!!! Not even counting the same statement prior to Sept 10!! "Sept. 10, 2019: Trump’s top aides have gotten the message. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo and Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin told reporters at the White House last week that the president’s position on a meeting is clear. “The president has made very clear he is prepared to meet with no preconditions,” Pompeo said during that briefing.
“Now, the president has made clear he is happy to take a meeting with no preconditions, but we are maintaining the maximum pressure campaign,” Mnuchin said." Then, on Sept 15: "“The Fake News is saying that I am willing to meet with Iran, ‘No Conditions.’ That is an incorrect statement (as usual!),” Trump posted on Twitter on Sunday." How can anyone not realize that Trumpty needs to be put in a rubber room!?!?!

The president was heckled twice during the speech. The first interruption came shortly after the rally began.
Mr Trump’s supporters booed the protester and the president used the disruption to attack the media.
“Good night to that person,” he said as the protester was escorted out. “Tomorrow [the media] will say ‘massive protests!’
“One person just going home to Mommy a little bit sooner.”
SO PRESIDENTIAL

During his speech the president also claimed human traffickers were bringing women across the southern border and that his wall would stop them.
“They traffic, really, for the most part – in women. They capture women and they bring them across the open borders,” he said.
“And they don’t go through ports of entry.”
However, nearly 80 per cent of trafficking victims cross into countries through legal ports of entry, according to the International Organisation for Migration.

Donald Trump claimed the primaries were rigged in 2016. Now he's the one rigging them.
By canceling primaries, the Republican Party leadership is essentially sticking its fingers in its ears and shouting “la la la” to avoid reality.
Trump claims the states are canceling their primaries to save money. But with the deficit recently cracking $1 trillion, this sudden bout of fiscal conservatism seems dubious.
Trump and the state parties can’t give a good reason why they want to cancel the 2020 primaries because the real reason is weakness. Three recent polls indicate that a fifth or more of Republican voters are already disenchanted with Trump — and Trump’s challengers have barely started to get their messages out.

Donald Trump claimed the primaries were rigged in 2016. He is right on this; the Democratic primary was rigged for Clinton.

Donald Trump claimed the primaries were rigged in 2016. He is right on this; the Democratic primary was rigged for Clinton. You're right. The DNC did not want that horrible progressive, Sanders, to challenge the establishment "center" Hillary. They knew he had a very, very good chance.
