President Donald Trump has made more than 12,000 false or misleading claims since taking office, according to a Washington Post analysis. But Kayleigh McEnany seems to think he hasn’t uttered a single lie.
On Wednesday night, the press secretary for Trump’s 2020 reelection campaign said Trump never lies ― leaving CNN host Chris Cuomo stunned.
“He doesn’t lie,” she insisted. “Guess who lies? The press lies.”
Cuomo tried to get McEnany to admit Trump has lied, but she wouldn’t budge. She just repeatedly attacked the media.
"No. I don't believe the President has lied."

“I’m going to ask you this one more time,” he said. “Kayleigh McEnany, do you believe this president has ever lied to the American people?”
“No,” McEnany said. “I don’t believe the president has lied.”
“Wow!” Cuomo said, adjusting his earpiece. “That blew the IFB right out of my head.”
“Do you believe the fake news media has lied?” she said.
“Interview’s over, Kayleigh,” he said. “Please.”
Cuomo added:
“If you can’t admit that this president has lied to the American people, you will not have credibility with the audience. You’ve got a long way to go, Kayleigh.”
“Although you may have hurt me tonight in inviting you back because if you can’t admit that he lied, these people are never going to believe you about anything,” Cuomo added.

Unbelievable. I am glad he called her out on it, but a better response would have been a few examples of blatant lies Trump has told - he should have said "Trump told the media at the G7 that he didn't attend the climate meeting because he was meeting privately with two other leaders - but both of those leaders were AT the climate meeting. Trump blatantly lied." And pick any other lies he has told. It would be rather funny watching her try to twist and squirm trying to spin them as not lies.

A teacher in Texas lost his job for suggesting that a Hispanic student, who didn’t address the teacher as “Sir,” could be deported.
“He told him, ‘Even though you are a citizen, Trump is working on a law where he can deport you, too, because of your mom’s status,’” the boy’s mother, who is in the United States legally and asked to remain anonymous, told CBS DFW. Even though they are citizens, her son now fears that he and and his mother will be deported.
The station reports that the boy didn’t wear a belt to The Barack and Michelle Obama 9th Grade Center on Tuesday and was suspended in-house. The school dress code states that belts are “required.”
According to a text message the boy sent his mom, the teacher was upset that he said, “Yeah” and not, “Yes, sir” during a conversation. So the teacher asked the student whether his parents were U.S. citizens, if he had knowledge of the 14th Amendment (which addresses citizenship), and showed him a coin that read, “ICE.”
The mom told CBS DFW that she confronted the teacher and saw the coin herself. She also reached out to a local organization called Parents Supporting Parents for advice.
Chenique Lewis, a founding member of the group, tells Yahoo Lifestyle that the mother is satisfied about the teacher’s termination, adding that recently, two other families said that the same teacher made other deportation threats.
My question is how this obvious trumpette got a job at that school?

Mr Trump also claimed he had never heard of a category 5 hurricane, a remark he has made several times before
He added: “But a category 5 is something that – I don’t know that I’ve ever even heard the term other than I know it’s there. That’s the ultimate, and that’s what we have unfortunately.”
Many pointed out it was remarkable Mr Trump had repeatedly said he had never heard of a category 5 hurricane.
Dorian is the fourth category 5 storm to make landfall in the US since Mr Trump became president. The others were Hurricanes Irma, Maria and Michael. At least 30 category 5 hurricanes have occurred around the world since 2016.

President Donald Trump on Monday insisted he was right to warn Alabama of a non-existent hurricane threat and attacked a TV reporter who pointed out the fact that the state was not at risk from Dorian.
“Such a phony hurricane report,” he declared on Twitter as he railed at Jon Karl of ABC News for reporting on his erroneous warning.

Former Vice President Joe Biden had a “Freudian slip” Saturday when he bungled the pronunciation of the President Donald Trump’s last name in truly Bidenesque fashion.
The foot-in-mouth moment occurred during the New Hampshire Democratic Party Convention in Manchester where the 2020 hopeful made an impassioned speech against Trump’s bid for a second term.
“We cannot, and I will not, let this man be reelected president of the United States of America,” he declared. “Limited to four years, I believe history will look back at this presidency as an aberrant moment in time.”
Stumbling through his next sentence, Biden called the president “Donald Hump,” quickly correcting himself and dismissing it as a “Freudian slip.”

INDIAN WELLS, Calif. (AP) — President Donald Trump's campaign manager predicted Saturday that the president and his family will become "a dynasty that will last for decades," transforming the Republican Party while hewing to conservative values.
Speaking to a convention of Republican Party delegates in Indian Wells, California, Brad Parscale also said the campaign's goal is to build a national army of 2 million trained volunteers, far beyond the president's 2016 organization, that in California could help the GOP retake a string of U.S. House seats captured by Democrats last year.
"The Trumps will be a dynasty that will last for decades, propelling the Republican Party into a new party," he said. "One that will adapt to changing cultures. One must continue to adapt while keeping the conservative values that we believe in."
