US representative Ilhan Omar mocked prominent supporters of Donald Trump on Thursday after they were tricked into thanking “Iblis” - a figure analogous to “Satan in Arabic” - for supporting the incumbent president.
Republican figures caught up in the prank included former Trump campaign manager Corey Lewandowski, Fox News host Tomi Lahren, former Trump aide Sebastian Gorka, and former Arizona sheriff Joe Arpaio.
"Omg, they are so desperate and gullible. Watch as Trump surrogates thank ‘Iblis’ (Satan's name in Arabic) for supporting Trump," wrote the Somali-American congresswoman, who is herself seeking a second term on Tuesday.

CNN’s Brianna Keilar on Monday debuted a fantastical new moniker for Fox News.
The “Newsroom” anchor slammed the widely watched conservative network for allowing Donald Trump to spew multiple wild conspiracy theories during an interview with host Maria Bartiromo on Sunday in the president’s latest desperate bid to overturn the 2020 election result.
Keilar then dinged the president and Fox News with a “Peter Pan” reference, saying Trump “continues his journey through Never Never Land, held aloft by Tinkerbell TV.”

"Some of us are wondering if he is a warrior with the Constitution or if he's just a bureaucrat," Kelly said. Kelly added that he "can't believe" if Barr "looked for voter fraud he wouldn't find any." And Mark Levin said he "regret[ted] to say" that Barr's comments were "misleading." The far-right blogs were even harsher. The Gateway Pundit, a fringe website which Trump has repeatedly promoted, published a post that said Barr had revealed himself as "totally deaf, dumb and blind." The post went on to say that Barr's "masquerade as someone opposed to the criminality of the Deep State" had been "exposed as a venal lie" and that he was a "fraud." It concluded, "You either fix the damn corrupt system or we will abandon you...Our days of tolerating betrayal are over." |

The day after a group run by a local Ohio tea party leader took out a full-page ad in the Washington Times calling on Trump to declare martial law and have the military oversee a redo of the presidential election using only paper ballots — a call echoed in a tweet by Gen. Michael Flynn — a raucous “Stop the Steal” rally in suburban Atlanta urged Trump supporters to descend on the statehouse on Thursday and demand the resignations of Georgia’s governor and secretary of state. In a press release announcing the ad published Tuesday by We the People Convention, the group’s president, Tom Zawistowski, said, “We wanted to express our concerns to the President, to the legislators, courts and Congress that We the People will NOT cede our exclusive Constitutional right to elect our Representatives to judges, lawyers, courts, Governors, Secretary’s of State, Congress, corrupt election officials and local politicians, the corrupt media — or Leftist threats of violence!”

Recently pardoned former National Security Advisor and retired Lt. Gen. Michael Flynn and Atlanta-based attorney L. Lin Wood joined a growing list of President Donald Trump’s devotees calling for martial law and having the military oversee a new presidential election. Both Flynn and Wood tweeted their support for the effort to undermine the will of the American electorate, with the latter saying a U.S. civil war caused by China was inevitable. Attorneys noted that a former top U.S. intelligence official in Flynn was openly signing his name onto a military coup.
The movement stems from a full-page ad in the Washington Times that was taken out by a prominent Tea Party leader in Ohio who calls his group the We the People Convention (WTPC). The ad erroneously claimed that Democrats “staged a four-year long coup” and illegally stole the election from President Trump, using ahistorical comparisons to actions taken by President Abraham Lincoln during the Civil War.
“Culminating in this corrupt and provably fraudulent current election planned to illegally and unconstitutionally deny the American people their most sacred honor, right and privilege—which is the right to elect their Representatives!” the ad stated. “There is no doubt that this attempted stealing of these elections again ‘is a case of rebellion…in fact, a clear, flagrant, and gigantic case of rebellion’ that requires exercising extraordinary authority to preserve our Union.”
The ad concluded with an ominous threat of violence if Joe Biden’s victory is permitted to stand.
“It is time to honor your oath, Mr. President. It is time for you to boldly act to save our nation as Lincoln did,” the group wrote. “We the People will support a national re-vote. We will also have no other choice but to take matters into our own hands, and defend our rights on our own, if you do not act within your powers to defend us.”

President Trump on Saturday demanded to know who the congressional Republicans were who acknowledged President-elect Joe Biden as the winner of the presidential election.
The president was referring to a survey from The Washington Post that found that only 25 Congressional Republicans acknowledged Biden's victory.
"25, wow! I am surprised there are so many. We have just begun to fight. Please send me a list of the 25 RINOS. I read the Fake News Washington Post as little as possible!" Trump tweeted on Saturday, referring to "Republicans in name only."

70-year-old Bruce Bartman, of Delaware County, Pennsylvania, has been charged with voter fraud.
He pretended to be his dead mom to vote for President Donald Trump in the 2020 election, and also registered his dead mother-in-law to vote, prosecutors say.
Prosecutors said it was the only voter fraud case they found after hundreds of tips.
Voter fraud is extremely rare in the United States, though Republicans have pretended it's a major problem and sought to pass laws restricting voting.
