Happy to discuss the surrounds. Nothing earth shattering or offensive, just repeated transgressions. They’d told me previously they had no issue with my calling Ron out as a sandbagger, just not do it on the forums - they were sick of dealing with him whinging about it I don’t think I transgressed today on the Beginner thread but there you go. Pointless to complain, I accepted their decision in the hopes it won’t be forever.

Nothing huge. I had an argument with Eric last week. He dragged it up this week and even without me being aggressive in return it was decided ‘for the good of the tours’ that I be removed from the forum. Not from the leaderboards though, so I’m thankful for that. I’m really enjoying the BCT, it’s TGC1 all over again, and will improve with Jacob ‘data’ Kessler doing the ranking for us. I’m 3 at the moment and have only played a handful of events.. Even if you don’t sign up, drag out the beginner clubs and compete with the leaders for fun. It’s pretty awesome.

Sorry but after watching cricket for the first time ever and getting the 24/7 cricket channel for free for roughly 2 and a half months for some reason, they took it away and I haven't seen any cricket since the WC Finals. I will not be able to participate in any cricket discussion until I find another source for free cricket.

Well, seems now I’m banned Eric was totally in the right for deleting my post last week and lying about it. He was also in the right to attempt to blow up this weeks thread as well.


Kessler absolutely read it right on this weeks thread when he said that Eric was starting shit again - but now without a chance to defend myself Eric gets to rewrite history and the narrative.

He’s an absolute coward. He wouldn’t confront me openly, would only snipe at me. He’s proven by lying about the history between us that everything I’ve said about him being a POS is true. He’s now TWICE only said what he wanted after he caused trouble to have me banned.

In the interest of fairness, could one of you guys please post on there that I believe Jacob got it 100% right and if anyone wants to hear my side of the story they’re welcome to come here and I’ll happily explain.

I understand if no one wants to get involved - but I’d have though with so many fair minded people in here they’d see how unfair it is to not have a right of reply. Don’t just hate injustice, walk the walk...

Just to be clear - last weeks shitfight was started by him removing a post and lying about it. This weeks was started by him blowing up about a message that said exactly the same as I said to him last week on the thread. I was told to message him rather than blow up a thread.

Yep it is unfair not to be able to rebut an accusation. I know you're an agitator but I don't think you've ever crossed the line into hateful speech - not that I've seen anyway. Tho I have no way of telling who's in the right - so would feel unable to get involved - ultimately it's their club, they get to choose the rules.

As I recall for pretty much most perma-bans they have relented after a few months.

I’ve removed myself as a player, I’m done with the place. I’ll read and post about in here, but my days as a player are done.

Bit of a shame with a Ryder cup style event that I suggested on the cards and Jacobs new rankings - I had my passion back for the game but I won’t be anyone’s whipping boy.


When I joined the forums I was attacked by Smurf and the Irish Mafia as a cheat. I complained to admit who did exactly nothing about it, and didn’t stop it at the time. I had to prove I was legit, thankfully guys like Sweeney and Garcia applauded me for finding a new controller that didn’t conform and advising the community.

That’s my introduction to the forums, and shaped how I’ve interacted since.

This has been a hatchet job. I’m honestly just disappointed that someone saw Eric’s posts for what they were (@jacob kessler) then doubted themselves once I’d been banned and had no right of reply to Eric’s lies.

Ray, I’ll try and get in touch with Eric re: your reply. Honestly I don’t expect a response because I think he’s put it all behind him, but I’ll let you know if I get anything.

For the record, I think it’s unfair you didn’t get a chance to respond to him. But for me it got to the point of, BCT is supposed to be more relaxed, so any talk of the Week 40 argument is just unnecessary whether it’s positive or not. I’m not saying Eric should’ve brought the PM into the thread, but I’m really not sure a PM was even necessary.

The PM started with the words ‘ I don’t like you’. I then explained why. Nothing that I hadn’t said on the previous weeks thread. Might have thrown in the odd fucking, but that was as adjective - In my opinion fair when describing what you believe as dishonourable conduct to someone who has lied to start trouble for you (from my perspective)..

It finished with an invite to rejoin the BCT and a promise I’d ignore him. Not for any other reason that people I like, like him. For the good of the tour I was hoping to enjoy.

I’m really not sure why anything in there surprised him apart from the offer of a truce. We’d been told to discuss ‘stuff’ via PM.

Me saying I didn’t like the fantasy themed threads, and gently I might add, wasn’t enough reason to bring up a message he received well before he replied to me that I wasn’t the reason he left. That wasn’t a shot at him, it was an encouragement for the 2 remaining guys who played along (I use the word play because it was childish IMO) to join in with the rest of us in what had started as a really fun thread. It’s pretty dead in there right now..

I was blindsided by his response, and didn’t even bite back. I was super thankful you’d said what you’d said so I could ignore without losing face. I was absolutely staggered when I went to see how the thread was going later to see id been banned. I was planning on playing on simply for your rankings, but when you changed your mind and he had his final word about me (again only once I was gone, just like last week), I decided it wasn’t worth playing any more.

I doubt the admins will change their minds. I tried. I even offered a 6 month trial with permanent ban as a player and in the forums to try and join back in - but without explaining what had happened, which they don’t want to hear, I’m just fingered.

Anyway, was important to me you knew how I felt, even if it comes to nothing. Katana, one of his mates had messaged me and we’ll have a friendly weekly rivalry on XB, but it will be hard to be motivated when it counts for 0.

I've never really understood the concept of asterisking out parts of swear words - you're reading and understanding the word anyway - so it's exactly the same communication. Somehow having different characters representing that meaning helps "sanitise" it :/ Makes no sense to me....
