A whopping $50 million (55%) of donations were funneled towards businesses owned by the groups founders. Co-founder John Weaver was in his own trouble after he was accused of sexual harassment, including sending lewd text messages to underage boys. Liberal MSM outlets such as CNN and MSNBC had done almost no coverage of these scandals as they have unfolded in recent weeks. This is a reminder that the founders of The Lincoln Project are neconaervative Republicans who served in the George W. Bush administration - not exactly the folks you'd expect to be protected by the Liberal media. Of course, this is more evidence that the Republican Party is becoming the Party of Trump, while the establishment Democratic Party is more than willing to accept neoconservative politicians into its fold.
