The president’s unfounded and wild claims came the same week that Republican leaders in Pennsylvania were quoted discussing plans to possibly stop all votes from being counted in the presidential election.
The Atlantic reported this week that Republicans are discussing an attempt to discard the popular vote in key swing states and install Trump for a second term through a vote by the state legislature that overrides the will of the people.
Such a scenario sounds far-fetched, and some experts said they did not think it a likely outcome. But the Atlantic article quoted two top Pennsylvania Republicans confirming that this is under discussion with the Trump campaign, and an unnamed legal adviser to the Trump campaign was also quoted in the piece saying that the president’s aides are “discussing contingency plans to bypass election results and appoint loyal electors in battleground states where Republicans hold the legislative majority.”

Vice Presidential candidate Kamala Harris appeared on The Last Word With Lawrence O’Donnell Monday night, where she responded to the blockbuster New York Times story that broke a day earlier. On Sunday, the Times, after obtaining more than two decades of tax returns, reported that President Trump is $421 million in debt to unknown lenders, causing some to believe the president to be a national security threat. Harris questioned who Trump owes money to and if it has an impact on his decision making.
“Who does he owe the money to? Tell us, who do you owe the money to? And do you owe debt to any foreign nation?” Harris asked. “Do you owe anybody money who is impacted by any decision you make as President of the United States? We need to know that. The American people have the right to know that when the President of the United States acts, he acts with their priorities in mind, not with his priorities in mind.”
Harris went on to say that Trump puts his political interests above those of the American people, and now it’s become clear he does the same with his personal interests.

They don't want us there...period.
BAGHDAD (AP) — The U.S. State Department said Tuesday it was outraged by a rocket attack a day earlier that killed Iraqi civilians and called on the government to take action amid an impending diplomatic crisis between Baghdad and Washington.
The attack and subsequent condemnation come after the U.S. threatened to close its embassy in Baghdad unless Prime Minister Mustafa al-Kadhimi's administration reigns in Iran-backed armed groups responsible for frequent rocket fire and roadside bomb attacks targeting the American presence in the country.

President Donald Trump’s son, speaking on one of his father’s favorite shows hours before the president was set to debate opponent Joe Biden in the first presidential debate ahead of the November election, was asked about the gay community’s support for the administration.
“I’m telling you, I see it every day, the LGBT community, they are incredible and you should see how they’ve come out in full force for my father every single day,” he answered. “I’m part of that community and we love the man and thank you for protecting our neighborhoods and thank you for protecting our cities.”

The first debate between the U.S. President Donald J. Trump and former Vice President Joe Biden was devoured with eager anticipation all over the world. But top Kremlin propagandists and state media experts came away disappointed, reluctantly acknowledging that Biden managed to wipe the floor with his loudmouth opponent.

Thoughts and prayers for Trump
Hope Melania and Baron are ok. I imagine she is just thrilled at the prospect of being in quarantine with her husband.
Karma is indeed a bitch if he does have it. I'm not going to go down the route of wishing him death or anything. As a high risk person myself because of my health I'm not going to kick Karma (not our wonderful course photo guy lol) in the teeth.
But I hate to say it, I hope he experiences major symptoms. Then maybe, just maybe the US can turn a corner and start to take it seriously. If he experiences no symptoms he will be out there telling everyone Corona is not that bad, will be pushing the heard immunity idea even more.
So now he gets a get out of jail pass on the next debates. Was actually looking forward to another round of them. If only to see him being called a clown again lol
Will probably pick up some sympathy votes.
May get to use one of his ventilators he likes to brag about.
Overall I see this as a plus for his re election prospects due to the sympathy vote. I don't think I can endure another 4 years of this guy. I'm Canadian. Where do I move to get away from it?
Very interesting time we are in. The possibility of the President becoming gravely ill or even dying, the same with the VP. And even Biden all 30 days before the election.

'Give me a f---ing break': Melania Trump lashed out at critics of her visit to the US-Mexico border, according to audio obtained by her former adviser
Melania Trump fired back at critics of her 2018 trip to visit children separated from their parents at the US-Mexico border, according to audio shared with CNN by her former adviser.
"Give me a f---ing break," Melania Trump said, claiming she was trying to get a family reunited and that the US takes better care of the children than their own countries, according to CNN.
Melania Trump was criticized following the visit for wearing a jacket many viewed as insensitive given the "zero tolerance" policy pushed by her husband's administration that has left thousands of families separated.
Trump also complained about "crazy" liberals and some of her duties as first lady, CNN reported, saying: "Who gives a f--- about Christmas stuff and decorations?"
"Melania and the White House had accused me of criminal activity, had publicly shamed and fired me, and made me their scapegoat," Stephanie Winston Wolkoff says of her decision to record conversations with the first lady. "At that moment in time, that's when I pressed record."

Ginsberg retired from law practice on Aug. 31, and a week later the historically tight-lipped legal eagle began to speak out about the almost daily disinformation coming from Trump. Since retiring, he’s written two op-eds for the Washington Post and has appeared on numerous TV news shows.
His main message is twofold. One, election fraud is rare, and there is no proof of anything close to what Trump constantly claims. And second, the president’s words are dangerous and harmful to the country.
“After decades of looking for illegal voting, there’s no proof of widespread fraud. At most, there are isolated incidents — by both Democrats and Republicans. Elections are not rigged,” Ginsberg wrote on Sept. 8.
“I can say with confidence that evidence to support the president’s words and threatened actions does not exist. The president has consistently been behind in the polls, and his aim appears to be seeding chaos in order to somehow cling to power,” he wrote on Sept. 29.

President Trump called into Hannity Thursday night, to clarify comments he made during Tuesday’s presidential debate concerning white supremacist groups and the Proud Boys. Instead of condemning, the president told the Proud Boys to “stand back and stand by.”
Trump’s failure to condemn white supremacists and violent alt-right groups was the biggest headline from the debate. The next day, when he was asked by the press to explain his comments, he claimed he didn’t know who the Proud Boys were.
Almost 48 hours after he made the initial comments during the debate, Trump called into Hannity to set the record straight. “I have to say,” said Trump, “I've said it many times, let me be clear again. I condemn the KKK. I condemn all white supremacists. I condemn the Proud Boys.”
While Trump was willing to condemn the groups, when it came to the Proud Boys, he admitted he didn’t really know what he was condemning.
“I don't know much about the Proud Boys,” said Trump, “almost nothing, but I condemn that.”
Sounds just like everybody he is associated with, Sean Spicer who?
