Thought I'd put up a thread with some pictures and stuff mostly from Manchester, as I like to find the quirky parts of certain places. I'm in Manchester city centre today and have finally visted the Engels statue that was shipped over from Ukraine. A genuine Soviet statue.

The Pevril of the Peak pub. I think this is a grade listed pub in the city centre that was once notorious for being a brothel back in 1930/1940's. It's surrounded by tall commercial buildings. A regular spot for Coronation Street actors back in the day.
