Anyone know what’s happening with season 6 RE - clubset? Did they end up going with Pro only? I’m assuming not.
I’d been playing on the BCT for a few months so hadn’t used Masters clubs for ages, but in the last couple of weeks I’ve been using them to play some society rounds and I’m actually finding them quite ok to use now on XB. Don’t know if they’ve nerfed it or I’ve just relaxed my swing but from missing cuts consistently earlier in the year on Euro then Web and TST, I’ve actually done ok the last couple of weeks. Still can’t putt without the putting marker measurement on, but that’s nothing to do with clubset.
Where’s everyone playing at the moment? I’m probably going to stay in BCT for the fun of it and play TST and society stuff with Masters.

Essentially, nothing has changed mate.
I'm playing euro tour, though missed the final few weeks due to my busy August, not making the "finals" and now the closedown.
I'm also playing tst, but have realised the advantage the maths formula type players have is even greater there, making it even "less realistic," from my perspective. A mate from my favourite society told me a while back the winner of a tst event, shooting something like -40, had a maximum made putt distance of 7ft! SEVEN feet!!
So yeah, my favourite society, the one I actually care about doing best on (still care about euro tour a bit,) is my ultra sim society, where we have a gentleman's agreement not to use loft box. It's incredibly rewarding.

Ha. I was an early member of ultra sim. Larry (pbuh) the originator was one of the best contributors the forums has ever had, and I’ve been around since season 2 or 3.. I may rejoin UST now I know you’re playing there, I rarely use the follow cam anyway so it’s basically just TST to me 👍.
The thing I like about TST now is there’s world rankings. I haven’t played in ages but still linger at 80 or something. I plan to play each event this year with masters as well as my BCT rounds. Interesting with the player voting going on now, last year I got runner up in the FedEx as well as PGA player of the year. How the mighty have fallen lol.
Honestly, with how much better I’m feeling in the last couple of months and how clear headed I feel now I may end up going back on the pro tour. I was about to drop from Web, or linger there maybe - and didn’t want to play against pro club users if I dropped. Also wasn’t fun scraping in cuts and being flogged by PS users. When I found how much fun the BCT is I was hooked, but who knows...

Come to USE mate! Would love to have you round there. Chilled, fun and friendly vibe, yet very competitive too. It's growing slowly but surely, got 20-25 regulars, with some very good players. I made the schedule for the whole 52 week season! I'm an admin there. Not using loft box, along with no putting grid, is a revelation to me. I'm really proud of my short game with no loft, but my putting and other occasional issues mean I'm not competitive yet. We only accept people who request in the forum, but I can put in a word for you  |

Let whoever is running the XB page know I’ll send a request within an hour or two. I actually only just left a couple of days ago to clean up my societies pages lol. I won’t be active in the forum, but if there’s a chat thing on the page I’ll be there. I saw your name on the TST leaderboard, I suspect we’ll be close. I had a pretty good first couple of rounds this week.

Do you remember hammers1man (Paul) from USE/tst ray? He remembers you and says you used to get on really well  He's admin now and is keen for you to join too. So once an Xbox guy gets the message, I'm sure you'll be accepted 👍 |

From hammers1man (Paul) in our admin message thread- Say hi to Ray from me Leon, would be great to have him back on our forum. I remember telling him to stick to the sim tours when he was a bit pissed about unsporting shenanigans on the other tours. I'm sure he'll appreciate the sportsmanship we have here 😁 (We do literally have multiple players reporting themselves for forgetting to not use loft box in our society. It's a top notch society ) |

Yep, I’ll play each event from now on. I had planned to finish the last event on Sunday (my time) but was a tad sheepish after a few too many bourbons on Saturday night 😂
