Only just come across this and I have to say that it is refreshing. Much, much better than the shallow platforms given to him via debates and media appearances etc. youtu.be/2O-iLk1G_ng

I look for things like this as debates are too time constraining for a decent answer to come across and most of the time the candidates have to defend against others attacks.
Good find.

Sanders' appearance on JRE was amazing. Rogan's audience is fairly conservative, but the comments were overwhelmingly positive on this video.
The consensus sentiment: Bernie isn't nearly as radical as Republicans are being led to believe, and he doesn't actually want to give away things for free - except in healthcare and education.
It's a must-watch video.

Also, Rogan's interview with Cornel West is a worthy watch.

First became aware of Joe Rogan watching UFC 7 or 8 years ago - he's one of those super annoying, talented at anything he does types.
His stand-up comedy doesn't really get me there - but I do tune into his pod every now & again - will give the Bernie episode a listen this evening 👍

I first saw Rogan on ‘NewsRadio’. It was a sit-com with the late Bill Hartman. I liked the show a lot as a young guy. I’m on the fence with him. He stands up for a few things I like, but also a few I haven’t liked his take on it. Can’t think of an example off the top of my head.

Watched the Bernie show last night - he's a very sensible chap. Overall a very impressive showing, but a couple of minor points against that I noted;
- He pointed out that in the UK political parties have 30mins on national TV to talk about anything they want in long form... this is not true - "Party Political Broadcasts" as they are called are 5mins in length. Basically, we have the same problems with distilling complex issues into stupidly short sound bytes as you do.
- He was a bit weak on two answers (Guns + Drugs) - you could tell he wanted to agree with Joe, but couldn't because of the bottom line it'd have on the vote count. Some battles are best avoided in pursuit of the greater war.
