The NAACP called out President Donald Trump over his yearslong attack on Colin Kaepernick for peacefully protesting racism, after Trump supporters stormed the grounds of the U.S. Capitol on Wednesday.
The Capitol went on lockdown as pro-Trump rioters breached the building, banging on the main entrance of the House chamber and shattering glass windows. Photos and videos posted online show the insurrectionists breaching legislative offices.
Trump, who has often derided Kaepernick’s peaceful protests against racial injustice as unpatriotic, initially responded to the riots by tweeting, “stay peaceful.” He did not tell his supporters to stop rioting in that tweet.
“And you thought ‘Taking A Knee’ was too much!?!” the official Twitter account for the NAACP tweeted.

All the black people killed by cops had it coming, but It's a "crime" that a woman who broke into govt headquarters as part of an armed mob was shot. Smh.
And the woman believed pence was guilty of, and should be tried for, "treason," for accepting the result of an election.
I'm sorry she's dead, honestly I am; but both the opinions above are absolutely ludicrous.
Pure trolling. But might as well respond and set it straight.
(PS- is Georgia part of that "sea of red?" Lost national AND senate elections now...)

It's the capital building not a headquarters but that's ok I'm guessing you are a euro clown.
But wait blm and antifa tried to break into the white house barrier and burned looted and destroyed businesses for months. That's ok right. All in the name of racism or... Marxism...or something.
Can you even tell me anything about the constitution? You do realize it's the mayor's job to provide security not the president. You know a republic not a democracy? Nah you have no clue. If that was a black woman omg! Ohh my God Racism!
It really doesn't matter though. You got trifecta. Libtard control. I'm so sure racism and poverty will disappear.
Best of luck. I'm out.

“Mr Trump will deservedly be left a man without a country," his first defence secretary, retired marine corps general James Mattis, said after the shocking violence fomented by his former boss. But 74.2 million Americans voted for him. Trump has turned the Republican Party into a cult. Another question: Has this populist hardliner finally learned his lesson?
We got that answer early on Thursday morning, in that statement-by-tweet.
“Even though I totally disagree with the outcome of the election, and the facts bear me out, nevertheless there will be an orderly transition on 20 January,” he said. “I have always said we would continue our ... fight to ensure that only legal votes were counted,” he said. “While this represents the end of the greatest first term in presidential history, it’s only the beginning of our fight to Make America Great Again!”
Even after a deadly day like Wednesday, the president used the word “fight” twice in that statement and continued pushing his baseless conspiracy theories. Trump appears to have learned nothing.

Random musings.
I have been seeing those who have resigned getting a lot of flack for doing it now and not long ago. That they are just trying to salvage their career. Which I totally agree with. They are pieces of shit no matter what.
But in my fucked up mind I love seeing them all leaving no matter when. I like the thought of Trump sitting there going "what did I do? What did I say?"
Random musing number 2.
I would have loved to been an invisible fly on the wall of whatever room he was in last couple days. To see him raging, privately panicking that he fucked up.
Random musing number 3..
I don't know. It's early..lol

I think a lot of these people are going to be unemployable. Unless Fox or Trumps new news outlet picks them up.
Heres to hoping Kayliegh Mcenwhatever her name is that I can't spell is flipping burgers in a couple years.

This is the response: It's not called a headquarters. BLM did stuff too. It's a republic not a democracy. The mayor provides security. Hahahaha! The guy is on tilt. - I actually called it the chambers before, but who gives a shit, what difference does it make. - BLM protests were 99% peaceful, nobody carried guns, in fact they got shot by maga nutjobs at 1 or 2 of them. - So America never calls itself a democracy? Ok moron. - If the mayor provides security, why did trump (eventually!) Call in the national guard, why has he been involved so closely when BLM or antifa has been out on the streets? Oh, and also, that point goes beyond the president anyway. We saw how each group was treated by the president/mayor/police. Take your pick. (It's actually the police that's most striking.) Any comeback about the "red sea?" Please, please say the Georgia elections were rigged. I need to see you say it!

"Donald Trump’s belated “concession” to a peaceful and orderly transition of power after the storming of the US Capitol has provoked anger and conspiracy theories among some of his most ardent followers.
On social media channels and chatrooms like Parler and 4chan, where far-right Trumpists have gravitated as other social media sites have increasingly shut out the president, there were complaints of betrayal.
Trump claimed on Thursday that he was “outraged by the violence, lawlessness and mayhem” of the Capitol siege that he had incited, and said those who “broke the law will pay” – comments that perhaps reflected concern over mounting legal and political hazard rather than a newfound sense of contrition and integrity.
Nevertheless they prompted an outpouring of anger, grief and denial from his hardline acolytes. “A punch in the gut,” said one. “A stab in the back,” another railed. From a third: “I feel like puking.”
A widely shared screengrab summed up the sentiment: “He says it’s going to be wild and when it gets wild he calls it a heinous attack and middle-fingers to his supporters he told to be there.”
Others turned to conspiracy theories, not least in the dark corners of 4chan and Parler, where the cult of QAnon holds sway. Many here saw not a Trump concession but either a “deep fake” video concocted by Trump’s enemies, or secret messages that indicated Trump was still on track to deliver on QAnon’s deranged promises.
“FAK fake fake He’s been locked out of his Twitter he can’t get into it he couldn’t get into it he couldn’t get into today it’s been closed out for ever,” opined someone called Magafree. “He has a plan here President Trump would not back down that easily,” wrote Brenda. “We need to stand strong, keep watch and pray. Something big is coming and Gid [God] is going to see it through.”
Lolz! They pretty much got a free pass, from police and trump, and they're still crying! And immediately grabbing for the nearest security blankey. (Otherwise known as conspiracy theories.)
The lack of self awareness is just stunning. It's actually quite impressive...

"The head of the US Capitol police and two other senior security officials are resigning amid mounting criticism of the bungled police response to the assault on Capitol Hill by a violent mob of Donald Trump supporters.
Steven Sund’s resignation will be effective from 16 January, and follows calls by the House speaker, Nancy Pelosi, and other senior figures for heads to roll. “There was a failure of leadership at the top,” Pelosi said.
Michael Stenger, the Senate sergeant-at-arms, has also resigned, along with Paul Irving, the official who holds the same position at the House of Representatives.
The Senate minority leader, Chuck Schumer, had said he would fire Stenger when he became majority leader later this month if he did not stand down.
Incited by Trump, a mob descended on the Capitol on Wednesday, swiftly breaking through police barriers before smashing windows and parading through the halls, sending lawmakers into hiding.
Late on Thursday the Capitol police service disclosed that one of its officers had died from injuries he sustained “while physically engaging with protesters” on Wednesday. Brian D Sicknick returned to his division office and collapsed, the police said, later dying in hospital. The death will be investigated by the DC Metropolitan police department’s homicide branch, the Capitol police and federal law enforcement officials.
Two law enforcement officials told Associated Press on the condition of anonymity that Sicknick had been hit in the head with a fire extinguisher during the melee.
He is the fifth person to die in relation to the violence. A female protester was shot and killed by Capitol police, and three other people died after “medical emergencies” on the grounds of the Capitol.
The announcement of Sund’s departure came as he detailed the violence for the first time, saying that police were “actively attacked” with metal pipes and other weapons.
“They [the mob] were determined to enter into the Capitol building by causing great damage,” Sund said."
Why is there no "leadership failure" and bungling of police work when BLM and antifa protest?
Why is looting and setting fire to empty buildings the worst thing ever, but smashing police in the head with metal objects and entering govt buildings with guns "justified."
Love the police when they're crushing BLM protests, all about "law and order" then, but not when white men and karens want to cry about completely standard election results.
These people are crazed lunatics, with no grasp on reality left...
