Aside from his financial interests in Turkey, Trump has absolutely zero reason to back the Rojava kurds because what many of you might not know about them is that they're a revolutionary movement led by mostly communists. The goal of the Rojava Kurds is to establish a self governed Rojava with an ecomony based on worker co-ops and universal services. The only reason they treated as allies is because they're anti Syrian government and the US used them for their agitators and so on.

Still, they were our allies, and Trump screwed them over royally. Been seeing interviews with US forces over there who are appalled and ashamed. I hope they release the 10,000 ISIS fighters they have locked up. Don't do the US any more favors, Kurds - lesson #1 when dealing with the United States is that we obviously cannot be trusted. Actually, let that be a lesson to ALL of our allies - better take care of your own houses, and build alliances among yourselves. You just never know about the U.S.

Fuckstick Von Douchey is trying to normalize impeachable offenses and abuses of power, as his "strategy" of fighting the escalating impeachment investigations. Mulvaney Admits To Quid Pro Quo on Live TVPer Mulvaney: "We do it all the time in foreign policy. Get over it." Reality: "This administration sees no difference between using U.S. aid to advance national policy goals and using it to advance Trump's personal political goals." (response from Bernie Sanders) That's the whole crux of Trump's presidency: he, his supporters, and all Rethugs believe that there is NO DIFFERENCE between Trump's personal political dealings and our nation's. Ie., Trump IS America. Thus, their argument that it is perfectly ok for the President to get foreign governments to dig up dirt on his political rivals for the 2020 election. Not going to work, Il Douche. Just because you admit to impeachable offenses on national TV, over and over, doesn't make them not impeachable. Usually, when one finds oneself in the bottom of a deep hole, the first order of business is to throw away the shovel.

I read that earlier before you posted. There seems to be quite a few smart and knowledgeable people starting to enter this "debate" about this debacle of a presidency.

In an impassioned speech on the Senate floor Thursday, Sen. Mitt Romney, R-Utah, blasted President Trump’s decision to pull troops from defensive positions in Syria, and brought up the possibility that “Turkey may have called America’s bluff” in an exchange between Trump and Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan.
“Are we so weak and inept diplomatically that Turkey forced the hand of the United States of America? Turkey?” Romney said. “I believe that it’s imperative that public hearings are held to answer these questions, and I hope the Senate is able to conduct those hearings next week.”

They just never stop do they...
Acting White House chief of staff Mick Mulvaney insisted Sunday that he did not say that President Donald Trump held up military aid for Ukraine for political purposes — despite acknowledging the issue at the heart of House Democrats' impeachment inquiry during a televised press conference.
"I'm flinching because that's what people are saying that I said, but I didn't say that," Mulvaney told "Fox News Sunday" host Chris Wallace of the comments he made — and then walked back in a contradictory statement — Thursday.

A little interesting tidbit of information:
Alabama has the highest approval rating for Trump in the country. Alabama has a law banning the sale of vibrators.
Apparently, they can only support one dildo at a time.....
